ACW haul, Limecrime aquataenia swatches, Sugarpill burning heart swatches

On august 18th, I placed an order with All Cosmetics Wholesale AKA Suite 7 beauty. Today it arived, carrying

a limecrime palette, a sugarpill palette, and a nyx jumbo pencil. I also got a free gift- beauty Fixation makeup

remover saturated q-tips in a neat case.

the entire thing was packaged very well. I’m happy that the eyeshadows survived the trip all the way from

Washington to North Carolina- I was worried when I saw how far they had to go! The entire order was wrapped

in thick bubblewrap and secured with tape.
The LC palette was a little bent out of shape though!
The palette had a nice decorated plastic covering on it protecting the shadows.
Here’s the palette, a little yellowed on my camera. The colors are as follows-
  • Nautilus prime, a sassy navy blue
  • Coral of the story, a peach that ain’t messin around
  • Seahorse discourse, a granny-smith green with blue sheen
  • Pearl-ple, a moonlit pastel lilac
  • and Atlanteal, the a sky turquoise that could make the summer jealous

All of the colors have a silver/white sparkle to them- Limecrime claims they sparkle like a mermaid’s tail. I

wouldn't disagree!
The sugarpill palette came in it’s famous gorgeous packaging, looking just as lovely as one would imagine.

The box has all sorts of different finishes on it which gives the art a lot of depth. I love miss kika and I love

her work on this box!
The palettes are very different sizes and you get more bang for your buck with the sugarpill colors. As you can

see, LC’s shadows are about half the size. Weight wise, you get 1.5 grams with LC and 4 grams with sugarpill

at the same price. Interesting.

All swatches are applied with a MAC 239 brush for practicality.
here are the swatches! my camera does not do either of these palettes justice. The LC is much more neon and

the sugarpill is much less dusty looking. I found that the sugarpill colors get darker as you layer them-

something no one has called out in my experience reading reviews of sugarpill palettes. Also, THESE COLOR

ARE NOT MATTE. Buttercupcake has a golden sheen to it and all the colors have a bit of silver sparkle to them.

When applied, the sparkles aren't very noticeable, but they’re there.

I hope this first post was helpful to someone!
